However, Arsenal seems to be leading the race for the £45m-rated forward, with the Slovenia international favoring a move to the Emirates amidst a competitive transfer market.


This development is a significant boost for the Gunners, with Mikel Arteta looking to bring in a young striker who can grow and work alongside Kai Havertz, who excelled for Arsenal last season. Sesko’s agent, Elvis Basanovic, has attended Arsenal matches this season, and Sesko, who turns 21 on Friday, appears to be a perfect fit for the team.


RB Leipzig is willing to sell Sesko this summer if they can negotiate the right deal, despite him having only been with the club for a year. He has been part of the Red Bull network, having joined Red Bull Salzburg in 2019.


Sesko is part of Slovenia’s squad for the Euros and will face England in the group stages of the tournament in Germany this summer. Standing at 6ft 5in, he has a strong goal-scoring record. Arsenal has been monitoring and scouting him throughout the season, though he is not the only target on their list.


Arsenal has also shown interest in Ajax star Brian Bobbey and Brighton’s Evan Ferguson. However, Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Newcastle striker Alexander Isak are no longer being considered.


Arsenal is not expected to make a major superstar signing this summer but is in the market for a promising No.9 and a winger. They may also look for a midfielder if Thomas Partey leaves.


While Arsenal will have funds to spend, they are also anticipating some departures. Potential exits include Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, and Emile Smith Rowe, with Bayern Munich keeping an eye on Oleksandr Zinchenko.
